Junior Certificate

Archbishop McHale College has embraced all aspects of Junior Cycle reform. The new Junior Cycle places the student at the centre of the learning process. It allows for new ways of learning and a broader range of skills to be assessed.

The release of the Junior Certificate results by the State Examinations Commission (SEC) in September 2016 marked the end of an era. In the future, Junior Cycle students will receive a new Junior Cycle Profile of Achievement (JCPA).

In Archbishop McHale College the Key Skills of the Junior Cycle are embedded into our everyday interactions with students.
