The curriculum offered at Archbishop McHale College is designed to give each student the opportunity to realise their full potential and to develop their interests and talents. Students experience a broad range of subjects following the content of the curriculum. In our school, teaching methods relate to the students’ lives and experiences thus preparing them for life in the future.
All subjects are available at both higher and ordinary levels. Our students are grouped in ‘mixed ability’ classes in Junior Cycle and ‘higher’ or ‘ordinary level’ at Senior Cycle. All students are supported to learn and make progress regardless of any additional need they may have.
